Tips for the Best Roasted Broccoli
- Don’t overcrowd the pan. Give the broccoli space so it roasts instead of steams. Use two pans if needed.
- Cut evenly. Try to keep the florets similar in size so they cook evenly.
- Serve immediately. This is when the broccoli is at its crispiest and the Parmesan melts just slightly.
Make It Your Own
- Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little heat.
- Toss in some toasted pine nuts or slivered almonds for crunch.
- Swap lemon for a splash of balsamic glaze for a different flavor profile.
This Parmesan Garlic Roasted Broccoli is proof that simple ingredients, cooked the right way, can be absolutely delicious. It’s the kind of side dish that turns veggie skeptics into veggie lovers—and once you try it, you’ll find yourself making it again and again.
