If you’re looking for a beautiful and elegant dessert that’s incredibly easy to make, look no further than these White Chocolate Mousse Tartlets. These little treats are the perfect combination of creamy, white chocolate mousse, crisp crust and a burst of fresh berries. The best part? This fancy looking recipe uses a premade pie crust, and a box of instant pudding to make it so simple and easy.

I am the oldest in my family and when each of my 3 sisters and brother got engaged I threw a party for them, so the families could meet and celebrate together. I always served these little white chocolate mousse tartlets, so it kind of became a tradition for those gatherings. I served them for several reasons, they are not only amazingly delicious and very pretty, but they are so easy to make! You can make the crusts and filling, and prep the fruit all a day ahead of time. So they can come together quickly the day of your event. I like to serve them for parties, and showers, especially in the Spring and Summer. I prefer to use only berries on top–blueberries, strawberries, blackberries and raspberries, but when I make these in the winter sometimes good berries are hard to find, so I add kiwi and mandarins (from a can) . The mousse is surprisingly simple to make and so perfect combined with fresh berries!!

So, let’s dive right into this wonderful recipe that’s sure to impress your family and friends!

What you need for White Chocolate Mousse Tartlets:

  • Pie Crust (store bought or make your own)
  • White Chocolate
  • Half and Half
  • Heavy Cream
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix

Using a pre-made pie crust, makes this step super easy and fast!

Then you simply spoon the mousse into each one and garnish with berries! Before you know it, you have a plate full!

I made these and they are just wonderful!. The filling is delicious. Best of all, they are so pretty! For the garnish, I used small slices of strawberry and kiwi and a few blueberries. I made these for a bridal shower, but they would be perfect for a tea party or summer luncheon buffet.

These are my absolute favorite dessert. Melanie made these for all our engagement parties. Now that everyone is married in our family, we’ll have to contrive another special occasion she can make them for. I love them!

Hey! I’ve had these before at your house a LONG time ago – I think for a little get together when Jed and Erin got engaged. Yum…they were delicious, I still remember!

Tribute to my sweet Mom

I developed my love of cooking at an early age “helping” my Mom bake cookies, make dinner, and knead bread. She had quite the well of patience! She is the one that taught me about measurements, leavening agents, egg-washes, the basic white sauce, and numerous other mysteries of the kitchen!  I cherish the memories I have of learning to cook at her side. Thank you Mom! You instilled in me a respect for work as well as a joy in creating delicious things. I love you! xoxo
