Description

Hot crab dip is a timeless classic that never fails to impress. Whether you’re hosting a fancy dinner party or a casual get-together, this dip is sure to steal the show.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 8 ounce package of cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 Tablespoons minced fresh onion
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (sharp is best)
  • 1 8 ounce package of crab meat (imitation works great)
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 Tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • paprika and fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  2. In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, mayonnaise, minced onion, cheddar cheese, crabmeat, lemon juice, hot sauce, and worcestershire sauce.
  3. Transfer to a shallow pie plate or baking dish. Sprinkle with a little more cheese and paprika.
  4. Bake for approximately 30 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
  5. Remove from oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley, if desired.
  6. Serve with crackers and/ or tortilla chips.
