  • Yield: 1 serving 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 cups spinach (I add 2 cups and sometimes use kale for one cup)
  • 1 cup of frozen banana slices
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple or mango* (or a combination of both)
  • 1/2 cup vanilla Greek yogurt (or any yogurt of your choice)*
  • 1/41/2 cup water or almond/ coconut milk
  • assorted toppings: fruit, granola, seeds, nuts, honey

you can also leave the yogurt out and add a 1/2 avocado for creaminess

  • *any frozen fruit will work

Instructions

  1. Make sure you have a strong, powerful blender that will blend up the frozen fruit. I like to use a Vitamix or Blendtec. You can also use a food processor.
  2. Add all of the ingredients to the blender in the order listed. Blend on high for at least 2 minutes or until smooth. Scrape down the sides of the blender as needed. The smoothie will be very thick. Add more milk if needed to achieve the consistency that you prefer.
  3. Pour into a bowl and add your favorite toppings.
