Happy Halloween this week!

I wanted to quickly share some SUPER cute (and easy no bake) healthy Halloween party food ideas for kids!  With all the treats and candy that they will be getting it is nice to have some fun food ideas that are actually nutritious!  I am now teaching preschool and these were a BIG hit with my 3 year old class!

Mandarin Jack o Lanterns

Aren’t these so cute?!  They remind me of the mandarin cup jack o lanterns we shared a few years ago.   All you need is a sharpie marker and viola, you have turned a piece of fruit it to a fun Halloween goodie!

Juice Box Mummy

Simply wrap a 100% juice box in white medical gauze tape, white electrical/duct tape, or use a glue gun and you can make toilet paper work.  Then attach googly eyes or draw them on with a sharpie marker.

Ghost Cheese Sticks

Turn the cheese stick over and draw a little face on with a black sharpie makers!  Boo!  The kids will love them!!

Tribute to my sweet Mom

I developed my love of cooking at an early age “helping” my Mom bake cookies, make dinner, and knead bread. She had quite the well of patience! She is the one that taught me about measurements, leavening agents, egg-washes, the basic white sauce, and numerous other mysteries of the kitchen!  I cherish the memories I have of learning to cook at her side. Thank you Mom! You instilled in me a respect for work as well as a joy in creating delicious things. I love you! xoxo
