Super Bowl Party treatsYesterday I shared lots of fun savory ideas–so you are covered in the appetizer, crunchy, salty department but you still need some fun sweet treats to round out your Super Bowl Spread.  These are some the of the fun Super Bowl Party Treats that I am considering:

Anybody who knows me, knows that my favorite dessert is a good cookie and I have lots of favorite recipes to pick from but at the top of my list are these:

Classic Chocolate Chip Cookie (and this recipe is the BEST–Tried and True!!)

Browned Butter Chocolate Chip Pretzel Caramel Kitchen sink cookies

Pretzel, Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookie (Panera Bread’s Kitchen sink cookie copycat)

Or this amazing sugar cookie…The Famous Swig Cookie

Chocolate Sugar Cookies (aka the SWIG Dirtball)

And don[t forget the chocolate version–Dirt Ball (Chocolate Swig Cookie)

coconut cream sugar cookies

Coconut Cream Swig Cookie

Gourmet S’More Cookies are always a HUGE hit. Sooo good. People go crazy for these!

A couple of Gluten Free Options:

Almond Flour Brownies

Double Chocolate Almond Flour Brownies are so good and GLUTEN FREE too!!

Chex Scotcheroos

Chew Scotcheroos (a fun take on the bar cookies–gluten free too!)

Or how about these sweet babies…(easily gluten free if you use GF rice cereal–FYI the Malt o Meal brand is–the blue Kellogg box is not!!)

Gourmet Chocolate Peanut Butter Rice Krispy Treats

Now if you are short on time or don’t want the work of rolling out dough, you must try these awesome bar cookies–Christmas variety is pictured but you can decorate them for any holiday.  Just change the frosting and/or sprinkle up! They are melt in your mouth delicious!

Sugar Cookie Bars

Or how about this ‘sweet’ pizza?!

Fruit Pizza (made on a giant sugar cookie)

How about a fun dip?

Oatmeal Cookie Dough Dip

And my last but not least idea is this wonderful creamy dip that is just perfect served with salty pretzel sticks:

 Peanut Butter and Chocolate Cheeseball

Tell me…what are you going to make??

    Hi Linda,
It’s not you–I forgot to link those two recipes–oops!! It is fixed now, so if you refresh, you should be able to see that they are now linked! Those two cookies are so good–I hope you like them as much as we do! Thanks for letting me know! Good luck with your Men’s Prayer Breakfast! xo

Both “chip” cookie look wonderful, but what am I doing wrong that I can’t get the recipes? The other recipes “light up” and become underlined, allowing me to click & open them. I’m preparing for a men’s prayer breakfast for Sat morning and even though I serve a coffee cake or quick bread, they enjoy cookies to munch on when they first arrive at 6:00 AM. These would be perfect!

Tribute to my sweet Mom

I developed my love of cooking at an early age “helping” my Mom bake cookies, make dinner, and knead bread. She had quite the well of patience! She is the one that taught me about measurements, leavening agents, egg-washes, the basic white sauce, and numerous other mysteries of the kitchen!  I cherish the memories I have of learning to cook at her side. Thank you Mom! You instilled in me a respect for work as well as a joy in creating delicious things. I love you! xoxo
